Janmashtami also know as Gokulashtami was celebrated with great pomp and grandeur. On this auspicious day marks the birth anniversary of Lord Shri Krishna the most beloved deity and this festival was celebrated with great enthusiasm. The children dressed up as Radha and Krishna by adding a traditional touch to the event .They danced on the beats of Lord Krishnas divine songs filling the air with joy and festive spirit. The “ Dahi Handi” was the most significant event of the programme. They children enjoyed it so much that they finally ended up breaking the Dahi Handi and were mesmerised by all the chocolates and other gifts that came out from it.
At the end sweets were distributed among the teachers ,students and other staff members.
