Grandparents are a delightful blend of laughter, caring deeds, wonderful stories and love. They are the family’s greatest treasure, the founder of a loving Legacy, the greatest storytellers, and the keeper of tradition.
On the 27th of September People’s High School celebrated grandparents day with a lot of fun . We took the opportunity to express love towards the elderly people in the society. The celebrations commenced with a speech by the Principal followed by various games with grandparents which included creating the tallest towers with plastic cups, we had question and answers round about their grandchildren , a blindfold challenge, ramp walk also was organised where they smartly posed and spoke a few lines about their grandchildren and the school.
The grandparents had a delight watching their children dance to some preppy songs of Navratri and Bathukamma.
It was a great opportunity for the grandparents to witness the students’ talents. There was an active involvement and cheer from the grandparents and children while doing the activities together. The grandparents had a lot of fun and a few of them were very enthusiastic, they danced and participated in all the games with great vigour.
It was a very grand and successful event and was appreciated by the parents and grandparents. They showered heaps of blessings to the school and the staff.
