A field trip to the supermarket is the best for bringing students together to teach important lessons about our food and the need for healthy eating habits.
The students were attracted by the vibrant colours in the market. The purpose of this trip was to reinforce the concept of healthy benefits of fruits and vegetables . The tiny tots learned more about the taste, smell, colour, texture of different fruits and vegetables. They were also told about how it is very important to wash fruits before eating or cooking and the benefits of eating healthy and fresh foods.
The teacher also differentiated between eating healthy and frozen foods. The trip was indeed an amazing experience which helped in creating a positive learning environment and they could connect the activities to real life experience.s.
